Every part of Hurmukh is designed to come home.

From the booster's structure to the interstage adapter that separates and protects the upper stage during ascent, Hurmukh is engineered around reusability — a 4-engine LOX/RP-1 cluster, deployable grid fins, and propulsive landing legs bring the booster back for refurbishment and reflight, shortening the turnaround between launches. The propulsion architecture builds directly on lessons from the LPE-200 engine program.

01 — Booster
Reusable Booster
The first stage of Hurmukh, ~20.8 m long, powered by a 4-engine LOX/RP-1 cluster (850 kN combined thrust). Carries LOX and RP-1 tanks, and is recovered using grid fins and landing legs for a propulsive landing.
02 — Interstage
Interstage Adapter
A 1.5 m, 2.0 m diameter ring-stiffened aluminum adapter connecting booster and upper stage. Houses the four grid fin hinge mounts and the separation clamp band, carrying flight loads through ascent before a clean release.
03 — Upper Stage
Upper Stage
A ~5 m expendable LOX/RP-1 upper stage that carries the payload the rest of the way to orbit after separation, completing Hurmukh's ascent to a ~930-1,025 kg payload capability in LEO.
