Overview
NuraCast is a high-speed real-time weather monitoring system designed to deliver accurate environmental data updates every 60 seconds.
Built using an ESP32 microcontroller, it collects and transmits live weather data from multiple high-precision sensors to a dedicated Android application.
The system is designed for agriculture, research, and environmental monitoring applications, providing fast, reliable, and continuous weather intelligence in real time.
Components & Hardware
- ESP32 Microcontroller – Main processing unit responsible for data collection and wireless transmission.
- SHT32 Sensor – High-precision temperature and humidity measurement module.
- BME280 Sensor – Measures atmospheric pressure, temperature, and altitude estimation.
- LDR Sensor – Detects ambient light intensity for environmental monitoring.
- Custom 3D-Printed Anemometer – Measures wind speed using rotational motion sensing.
- 14A 12V Battery System – Provides stable long-duration power for field deployment.
- NuraCast Android App – Displays real-time weather data, graphs, and historical analytics.
